    Cookie Policy

    Last updated: April 20, 2026

    What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember things — like whether you're logged in, what you've already seen, or whether you've consented to analytics. Brainer uses both first-party cookies (set by us) and third-party cookies (set by services we use, only with your consent).

    Cookies we use

    🔒 Essential cookies (always on)

These keep you logged in and the product working. They can't be turned off.

    • sb-* — Supabase authentication session
    • cookie-consent — remembers your cookie choice

📊 Analytics & social proof (consent required)

These are only loaded if you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

    • PostHog — product analytics. Records page views and key actions (starting checkout, completing a purchase, saving to your Brand Brain) so we can see which parts of Brainer are useful. Signed-in users are identified by account ID only, never by email.
    • ProveSource — shows recent activity notifications on marketing pages. Tracks page views to power "X people just signed up" notifications.

    How to manage your preferences

You're shown a cookie banner the first time you visit a marketing page. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time:

After resetting, refresh the page to see the banner again. You can also clear cookies directly in your browser settings.

    Do Not Track

We don't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there's no consistent industry standard. Use the cookie banner to control what we load.
